For Freda Ballard, Lyfe Journey Unfolding is more than an organization—it is a calling rooted in compassion, service, and the belief that everyone deserves dignity, hope, and an opportunity for a better tomorrow.

Freda founded Lyfe Journey Unfolding in 2021 with a vision to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals experiencing homelessness and hardship. What began as a desire to serve has grown into a nonprofit committed to meeting people where they are through community outreach, essential resources, meaningful partnerships, and genuine human connection.

As Founder and CEO, Freda leads with both her heart and her experience. With a Master’s degree in Business Management and a passion for bringing people together, she works to build partnerships, mobilize volunteers, and create opportunities that help individuals feel seen, valued, and supported.

Freda believes that a person's current circumstances do not define the rest of their story. Her vision for Lyfe Journey Unfolding is to continue expanding its impact and ultimately create pathways to stability, independence, and long-term success for those in need.

Her guiding belief is simple: Every journey is still unfolding—and everyone deserves the opportunity to write a new chapter.
